Generate and Manage API Keys

To access the API you require a Partner API Key & Secret. These credentials can be generated & managed through the PhoneLine+ Partner Portal.

Manage your Keys

• Login to the PhoneLine+ Partner Portal with your usual credentials.
• Navigate to Settings > API to view the API key management interface.
• You will then need to use the toggle located in the top right hand corner to access our new PhoneLine+ API documentation (See screenshot below) and functionality to generate your API keys (Please note, you will still be able to use the existing API functionality)

Generate new Key & Secret Pair

• Navigate to the API Settings page in the portal as above
• Click the Generate API Key button on the top right, in order to do this you will also need to accept our terms and conditions (please see the screenshot below)

• When you select the Generate API Key button, the new Key & Secret pair will be presented in a popup window as shown in the screenshot below

Keep your Secret safe

The Secret will only be shown once, please ensure to note this down as it cannot be retrieved later

• Once you have copied your Key & Secret pair, you will then need to exchange this for a short live JWT token which can be done by using the PhoneLine+ auth endpoint.
• When you return to the PhoneLine+ partner portal page for generating keys, this page will list all your existing keys with their last use data & time shown as per the screenshot below

Delete an API Key

• Navigate to the API Settings page in the portal as above
• Identify the relevant Key to delete
• Use the Delete option to remove a specific Key
